Borneo has some of the best diving in the world, with world famous Sipadan being the star attraction. Sipadan needs no introduction to experienced divers, being often cited as the world's best diving. Amongst the best dive resorts in Borneo are Lankayan Island (not near Sipadan), famous for Macro, Wreck diving and Whale Sharks. Big fish are the attraction though for many staying at Kapalai and Mabul near Sipadan, with huge schools of barracuda, jack and trevally, not to mention sharks and turtles.
