Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

Rustic Chay Lap is an eco-tourism enterprise located on a peanut and maize farm in a beautifully scenic region of Vietnam.

A stay at Rustic Chay Lap is a great chance to experience rural Vietnam and to enjoy activities such as kayaking and cycling.

Nearby is the largest cave in world and the world's longest underground river.

The homestay was built to represent a slice of traditional local life in Vietnam's central provinces.

Accommodation is simple but comfortable, homely and friendly under the care of Mr Khai and his family.

Dine in the kitchen and front patio of Mr Khai's home and sleep in a separate wooden home in the farmstead.

As with all of our Vietnam tours, this trip can be adjusted to suit your interests, time and budget and can be incorporated into a longer Vietnam tour.

Day 1: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha

Pick up from Dong Hopi Airport or from Hue (additional cost) and transfer to Chay Lap Homestay and check-in.

The rest of the day is at leisure to relax.

Overnight Phong Nha. Lunch & Dinner included.

Day 2: Local Village - Phong Nha

Enjoy a morning cycle and visit Nuoc Mooc Spring.

Afterwards head to Tu Tra Ang crossroads and visit Tam Co Cave, a vestige of the Vietnam War.

Overnight Phong Nha. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included.

Is this a Private Tour or a Group Tour?

All of our tours are private tailor made itineraries, customised for you - we can amend things to entirely suit you.

You will have your own private car, driver and guide on excursions.

Which Airlines do you use?

We work with all the major airlines flying to this part of the world.

Typically for Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific would be airlines we most often use.

However, just let us know your preferred airline if you have one. We can organise flights from any regional destination in the UK.

Vietnam Airlines fly directly to both Hanoi and Saigon from the UK.

Which Hotels do you use?

We're careful with our choice of hotels, but we're guided by our customers also. If you have some preferred hotels, just let us know.

We specialise in boutique hotels and so we will often suggest some of our favourite smaller hotels where we think these will be suitable.

We keep on top of hotel developments in Indochina from our office in Vietnam and regularly inspect the hotels we use.
