Cambodia’s many islands on the South Coast are largely uninhabited and undeveloped and provide a great refuge for marine life. There are very few places in Southeast Asia left that offer pristine tropical beaches without any large tourism infrastructure.

Depart from your hotel at around 9 am and embark on a full day trip to Sihanoukville’s beautiful islands of Koh Chaloh, Bamboo Island and Koh Tres – a day full of relaxation, snorkelling, enjoying the scenery and environment.

On the first island of Koh Chaloh, enjoy colourful coral and tropical fish.

Bamboo Island is perfect for swimming in the clear water and for relaxing on the long white sandy beach lined with casuarina trees. A Seafood BBQ lunch is served here (included).

In the afternoon trek to the other side of the island to see another beach with beautiful views.

Continue to Koh Tres for some snorkelling, before returning to the mainland. Transfer to your hotel by late afternoon.

Ream National Park was established in 1993 to include thick pristine jungle, mangrove forests and off-shore coral reefs, a nature lovers paradise with nearly 200 bird species, many kinds of monkeys, rare freshwater dolphins and the habitat of the pangolin.

This day tour leaves Sihanoukville at 9 am by shared vehicle to the Park Ranger’s Office, about 30 minutes away. From here, take a boat trip to Ream National Park along mangrove forests beside a small lake in order to see the park’s wildlife.

There is a chance of seeing spot-billed pelicans or the rare freshwater dolphins (November-May). The ranger boat stops at a small fishing village that will give you insight into the local lifestyle.

Continue on foot for 3 km, a short trek that leads from the village through the jungle clad mountains to the beautiful natural beach of Koh Sampouch, where a Seafood BBQ lunch awaits.

Return to Sihanoukville by boat and shared vehicle and arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.
