Wildlife - Bandhavgarh

Bandhavgarh National Park is probably the single best place in India to see tigers in the wild, especially taking into account the quality of the wildlife safaris.

Bandhavgarh is home to around 70 Royal Bengal Tigers as well as plentiful deer, wild boar and langur monkeys along with around 40 less commonly sighted leopards.

A visit to Bandhavgarh National Park is usually made over 2 or 3 nights and there is a very good choice of accommodation here, with no shortage of luxury lodges in Bandhavgarh.

The Fort is another highlight of a visit to this National Park, which is also one of the best National Parks in India for birding.
