Karnataka is a tapestry of colours, cultures, flavours and landscapes with a rich diversity of people and attractions, from the misty hill-stations of the Deccan Plateau to the gleaming hi-tec 'Silicon Valley' of Bangalore.
Amongst the main attractions of Karnataka are historic Mysore, the atmospheric ruins of Hampi and Hospet, Hill-stations such as Coorg and wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks such as Bandipur, Bhadra & Ranganathittu Wildlife Sanctuaries and Chamundi hills.
Karnataka can be broadly split into the Deccan Plateau and the coastal plains, with two completely different climates and landscapes, making for a varied destination which can easily be combined with a beach extension in Goa.
