Tanjung Rhu Resort is beautifully landscaped with great water features, 3 lovely swimming pools and a fabulous white sand beach fringed by casuarina trees - certainly one of the best beaches in Langkawi.
Tanjung Rhu is a place to enjoy a peaceful setting, some great food and luxurious accommodation.

There are ongoing renovations at Tanjung Rhu which have been underway for several years now. Some areas of the resort have been cordoned off. Please ask us for full details of renovations.
Damai Suite
Damai Suites are Tanjung Rhu's standard rooms and are a generous 50 sq. m. in size, featuring a private balcony, separate lounge and Garden Courtyard views. Rooms have timber floors and large windows and are furnished with soft Thai silk drapes and pure Indian cotton fabrics.
Bathrooms feature large mirrors, twin vanities and open via wooden shutters straight into the living room area creating a modern open plan living space. “Damai” means “Peace” or “Tranquility” in Malay.
Cahaya Suite
Cahaya Rooms are larger than the Damai rooms at 60 sq. m and they offer views of the tropical gardens. 'Cahaya' means 'light' or 'radiance' in Malay. Rooms offer bathrooms, which open on to the bedroom, and a small living area with a sofa and table.
The TV is on a swivel desk, which allows viewing from the bed or the sofa. Bathrooms feature a separate bathtub and rainforest shower.
Bayu Suria Suites
Meaning 'Sunny Breeze' in Malay, Bayu Suria Suites offer 80 sq. m of space with Garden or Pool Views.
Bayu Senja Suite
The Bayu Senja Suites, meaning “Evening Breeze” in Malay are identical to Bayu Suria Suites, but offer Sea Views. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms extra luxurious with double vanities and a power shower.
From the bath it’s possible to see the beach or watch TV! These rooms have 2 balconies, a huge bed and a sofa.
Anjung Suite
Two lounges and a huge private jacuzzi adorn the Anjung Suites which feature views of either the Sea, Pool or Gardens. Anjung Suites, meaning 'Terrace' or 'Balcony' in Malay are a spacious 100 sq. m. in size.

The Rhu
The poular Rhu restaurant is open for dinner and embodies the grace and elegance of the Casuarinas tree, which surround the resort.
This fine-dining restaurant has air-conditioned and alfresco sections - serving East-meets-West cuisine, amidst the soft strains of a serenading string quartet. Dress code is smart casual and specialities include Lobster Cream Soup, Grilled Lobster with tamarind sauce and Chocolate Ginger Pudding. Bottles of wine start at £30.
Sands
Sands is an alfresco casual all-day dining restaurant offering local, Asian and western fare. This beachfront restaurant with ponds and ceiling fans, serves a variety of Asian and Western cuisine. Specialities include Beef and Chicken Satays, Samosas, Korean Bibimbap and Indonesian Lobster Percik.
Sands Pool Bar
Sands Pool Bar is located in the centre of the pool area and features a wood fired pizza oven. Live entertainment is sometimes offered in the evenings.
Saffron
This casual Mediterranean Restaurant is a popular spot any time of the day. Saffron also has an alfresco section with an unencumbered view of the stunning sunsets. Specialities include Chicken and Seafood Quasadillas, Bouillabaise, Braised oxtail, Caesar Salad and Seafood Paella.
In-room dining
In-room dining is included in the All-inclusive option at Tanjung Rhu and is available 24 hours. Dining can be set up within the room or on the Terrace.
Private BBQ dinner
A truly romantic dining option is a private dining experience on the beach, served by your very own private butler. Private BBQ dinners are an additional cost to the All Inclusive option at Tanjung Rhu.
The Library
A cool, quiet haven with a magnificent view, the Reading Room - besides being the venue of English Tea, or coffee, with hot scones, pastries and savouries – is also a great place to browse through an extensive collection of books and magazines.
