Nasikia Central Camp offers 12 semi-permanent safari tents in the Central Serengeti, within easy reach of the Seronera Airstrip.

Each tent is a spacious 12m long by 4m wide and made from well-known heavy-duty safari rip-stop canvas.

Tents are very nicely furnished and feature netted windows down each side, which can be fully opened with only the canvas remaining at all times with the mosquito netting stitched strongly into the actual tent.

Each tent interior features a storage chest (with extra blankets), matting, wardrobe with robes, an umbrella and laundry bag, luggage racks, torch/whistle/camp information folder, bedside tables and beds (depending on room configuration).

What’s so Special?

This area of the Serengeti is scenically varied and quite beautiful, with a mixed landscape of hills and plains dotted with kopjes.

The great migration passes through this area of the Serengeti between April and May, but the location is also good for access to the migration between November and June in the Western Corridor and Southern Plains.

This is a very game rich part of the Serengeti with plenty of predators and a very good chance of excellent sightings.

Bear in Mind

This is camping in the wild with animals able to wander right through the camp.

Families are well catered for as the Family Tents can accommodate up to 4 people in the same tent.
