Set in the wild Osa Penisula, the luxury Lapa Rios Eco Lodge offers rustic-stlye bungalows overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Nestled within the rainforest, each open-air bungalow features a private deck with a hammock, a private bathroom and an outdoor shower.

Offering breath-taking ocean views, the open-air à la carte Brisa Restaurant uses local and indigenous ingredients.

The bar serves delicious fresh juices, organic wines and premium spirits.

There is a salt-based pool overlooking the ocean and massage services, reiki, yoga and chi-kun are also available.

Activities and day tours within the area include the popular Osa Trail hike and visits to the nearby Corcovado National Park.

Bear in mind

The bungalows are situated along a ridge climbing up through the rainforest.

Getting from your bungalow to the main lodge requires uphill walking so bear this in mind if mobility or fitness are concerns.
