Jaci's Lodges
Jaci's Lodges in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve offer an authentic, friendly and very special Big 5 South African Safari suited perfectly to couples, honeymooners, and also ideal for families with younger children.
Madikwe is a wildlife area offering some of the finest experiences in the South African bushveld.
There are two lodges at Jaci's, both of which offer the finest luxury, peaceful settings and intimate experiences.
Jaci's Safari Lodge is more suitable to families and offers 8 luxury tent-style rooms which feature balconies with views of the stream where animals come down to drink.
Rooms are decorated with vibrant colours and African fabrics, and all feature large bathrooms with double mosaic bath tubs and outdoor showers.
The Nare Suite and the Safari Suite are perfect for families, accomodating up to 6 or 8 guests respectively.
Jaci's Tree Lodge is perched high up in the trees on wooden stilts and offers 8 expansive tree-houses built on the edge of the of the Marico River and look out over the tree canopy.
Rooms are linked by wooden walkways and are ideal for honeymooners and couples.
Rooms are made from Rosewood and thatch and offer King-size beds, stone baths, outdoor showers and incredible views.
Other entertainments options include a games room and swimming pool.

Jaci's is a superb family safari lodge for families because of the malaria-free location, and also for the outstanding approach to the taking care of children and teaching them about the bush.
Jaci's has for a long time set the standard for offering a fantastic all-round family safari experience.
The field guides at Jaci's focus on the 'Top 10' instead of just the 'Big Five', so they get to enjoy sightings of the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant), but also hippo, giraffe, the endangered Wild Dog, brown and spotted hyena as well as cheetah.
Bear in Mind
Children under 6 yrs of age can be specially accommodated with their own 'jungle drive' on request and at additional cost.
The 'jungle drive' is educational, informative and deliberately shorter to keep younger children engaged.
