The Fort Printers is an elegant boutique hotel in Galle Fort, transformed from an 18th century mansion which formerly housed a print-works for a time.
With 13 suites in total, Fort Printers is a big favourite of ours and offers a very personal service in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
Rooms are spacious and beautifully but simply designed, in keeping with the style. An eclectic selection of furnishings graces the rooms; Tibetan carpets, Thai Silks and Asian antiques.
Fort Printers has a small swimming pool and a 1945 Morris Minor available for spins around the Fort.

Fort Printers has maintained the architectural and design integrity of the original mansion. Jackwood floors, white-washed walls, shuttered windows, daybeds and antique writing desks contribute to the period feel.

These rooms are part of The Fort Printers as hotel suites yet have the feel of a private residence.
