Brunton Boatyard
Moored on a historic stretch of Cochin’s famed harbour, just a walk away from Fort Cochin, the Brunton Boatyard Hotel was resurrected from the remains of a Victorian shipyard.
This renovated 22-room boutique hotel in Cochin occupies a colonial-era building recalling the once-great trading houses from the high era of commerce, when the pepper of Kerala was as precious as gold.
Brunton Boatyard's Standard Rooms feature four-poster beds whilst the Deluxe Suites offer great views.
Eating at Brunton Boatyard’s History Restaurant feels like a journey through history. Each dish reflects a different community, and with 30 different ethnic communities living in Kochi, the cuisine is very diverse!
What's so Special?
The hotel still holds the charm from its busy shipbuilding days in the 1800’s, with dated Dutch maps, small navigation devices and an ancient anchor decorating the premises.
