Battambang Resort is located in the midst of countless serene rice fields; local farmers can be seen tending to their daily work not far from the ancient village and famous bamboo train.

A salt-water pool and Jacuzzi are nice features.

The restaurant offers fine views of the spacious tropical gardens, an ideal place for taking a tranquil after-dinner walk.

Battambang Resort has 3 different types of room with twin or King beds. The Lake Rooms are probably the best in Battambang.

What’s so Special?

Battambang Resort is a cute little boutique hotel for an overnight stay in Battambang.

The hotel also supports local community development enterprise in a Visual Arts school, a Performing Arts school: divided into a Circus Arts section and a Theatre programme and a Music school producing both traditional and modern music. Circus tickets are about $20 including set dinner.

Bear in mind

The resort isn’t in the centre of town, but it’s not a long ride and a shuttle service is available if required.

Garden Rooms

Garden Rooms (31 sq. m.) each have spacious private covered terraces (15 sq. m). These rooms have either one King-size bed or 2 twin beds.

Lake Rooms

The Lake Rooms (35 sq. m) have slightly larger terraces (17 sq. m.) than the Garden Rooms.

Each room has a King-size bed.

Family Rooms

Family Rooms (62 sq. m) have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a 30 sq. m. private covered terrace.

These rooms have one King-size and 2 twin beds. 2 additional beds can be added.

Effectively the Family Room is two adjoining Garden Rooms.

Enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant or on your private balcony.

The restaurant serves some of the best Asian and Western food in Battambang. Upstairs enjoy your favourite drink and the sunset.

The restaurant-bar is open from 7 am till 10 pm.

Facilities:

The garden is full of tropical fruit trees such as banana, mango, jackfruit, coconut, dragon fruit, mangostine, rambutan etc as well as the herb garden for the kitchen.

Rice is also grown on site.

The garden has peaceful areas scattered with hammocks and water features.

Itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Battambang

You will be collected from your hotel in Phnom Penh for the overland journey to Battambang (about 3 hours). Check in to Battambang Resort.

Overnight Battambang

Meals: Breakfast included.

Day 2: Battambang

Enjoy a morning tour of Battambang with the afternoon to explore at your leisure or relax at the hotel.

Day 3: Battambang - Siem Reap

Transfer to the boat for the river and lake journey to Siem Reap - one of the most scenic journeys in Cambodia.

On arrival in Siem Reap transfer to your next hotel for overnight.

Note: The river journey from Battambang to Siem Reap is only avalable when the water levels are high enough (usually May - November).
