Seoraksan National Park is located on the East coast of South Korea, close to the border with the north but still very accessible from Seoul.
A trip to Seoraksan is ideal for those looking to enjoy some walking in South Korea. The early autumn foliage and the flowers of late spring make this a particularly attractive time of year to visit, although it's worth bearing in mind that some of the National Park is off limits outside of the summer season.
A trip to Seoraksan can be made as an add on from Seoul or as part of a longer trip through South Korea, perhaps heading down the eastern coast to Daegu and Gyeongju.
