Magical Lake Titicaca, considered sacred amongst indigenous Andean people, is the highest navigable lake in the world.
Cruising Lake Titicaca is like a journey across the roof of the world and at night, the stars, undimmed by city lights may never have seemed so close or so bright.
The lake can be visited from Copacabana on the Bolivian side or from Puno on the Peruvian side.
There are more than seventy islands in Lake Titicaca, including the Sun Island, one of Bolivia’s most sacred places and Uros floating Islands, built out of reeds.
