Beach at the Sarojin
By the Pool
The Sarojin is one of the most romantic and elegant boutique resorts in Thailand, ideal for a romantic holiday or honeymoon to Thailand, with a quiet beachfront location, romantic surroundings and luxurious facilities.
The Sarojin's beachfront location surrounded by peaceful paddy fields and unspoilt rural landscapes is serene and about as far removed from a busy resort area as one can find. The beach stretches for 11 km and the sheltered water is calm hear year-round.
The Sarojin consists of 56 suites in 7 low-rise buildings, which horseshoe around a spacious 10 acres of immaculately landscaped gardens and lotus ponds, a stylish horizon swimming pool, a great spa and romantic dining venues.
Garden Suites have open plan designs with luxurious bathrooms, whilst Pool Suites have plunge pools on the terraces. Sarojin Spa Suites are the most luxurious of the Sarojin’s rooms, with separate living areas and private plunge pools.
The Sarojin has been awarded the best boutique hotel in Asia at the World Travel Awards. For special experiences have a chat with the resort ‘imagineer’ for private dining, special excursions, romantic occasions and so on.
What’s so Special?
One of Thailand’s finest resort hotels, the Sarojin stands out of the pack for its immaculate attention to detail, the super welcoming atmosphere and the fine beachfront location in a peaceful area of Khao Lak.
We love the a-la-carte 'all day' champagne breakfast at the Sarojin, so much better than a buffet breakfast, and the restaurant overlooking the gardens is a lovely spot to start or finish the day. The restaurant by the beach is also high on the romance factor.
Rooms at the Sarojin have had a lot of thought put into the design, and the outdoor-style bathrooms are very special with open showers and large tubs.
The Sarojin is an independently owned hotel, and the owners Kate and Andrew have assembled a great team to run the hotel, which lifts the Sarojin well above most other resorts in Thailand.
They describe the experience as akin to staying at a “friend’s private estate” and that’s exactly how it has always felt like for us. It’s easy to fall in love with the Sarojin!
Spa Suites include Spa Credits - ask us for details.
Bear in mind
The Sarojin Khao Lak does not accommodate children under 12 years old.
The Sarojin is in a private and peaceful location and not nearby restaurants or other facilities (the main resort area is about 5 minutes drive away).
28 one bedroom Garden Residences (95 sq. m.) are situated on the ground floor of each building.
Garden Residences feature a Thai lounge Sala and a Garden Terrace creating the perfect indoor / outdoor living style.
Bathrooms are open-style with twin vanities, a great rainforest shower and a beautiful double size stone bath for two.

Ficus Restaurant is the spiritual heart of the Sarojin, named after the enormous Fig tree whose branches overhang the restaurant and the adjacent lotus pond. Ficus offers original recipes and old favourites in a romantic setting.
Champagne breakfast is served here a-la-carte style, which is so much better than a buffet. You will probably find yourself lingering long over breakfast.
Dinner is also served in the evenings, and the small bar is a great spot for pre-dinner drinks or after dinner cocktails.
The beachfront Edge Restaurant is also a very romantic spot for dinner. Rustic yet chic, the Edge serves up fine cuisine in an open-air timber pavilion right on the beach.
The atmosphere is less formal her than Ficus but also offers superb dining.
The Cellar is the open-air long bar and cooled wine cellar tucked away under the ancient Ficus tree. There is an excellent selection of wines and this is a great spot for after dinner drinks.
Tables are often set up for couples on the beach under old sea almond trees or on one of the pool island pavilions. You choose the place, the time and the menu.
One of the most romantic places for private dining is by a nearby waterfall.
The Sarojin has a gorgeous 25 metre long infinity pool with inviting shaded cabanas - the perfect spot for relaxation.
Khao Lak is ideal for divers looking to visit the Similan Islands and the Sarojin can organise diving trips as well as excursions aboard the Lady Sarojin.
The Sarojin's 'Imagineer' is at hand to assist in organising any special occasion such as private dining or to organise local excursions or activities.

A holiday to Khao Lak can easily be combined with a city stopover in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or perhaps Singapore. Bangkok is the easiest and most common stopover option.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat (Oman) or even Doha can also be considered as a stopover combination with a luxury Khao Lak holiday.
Khao Sok National Park
We think a visit to Khao Sok National Park and a stay at the wonderful Elephant Hills is a great option for combining with a beach holiday in Khao Lak.
Khao Sok is one of the most beautiful destinations in Thailand and a chance to experience million year old jungle and get up close with elephants.
Banyan Tree Bangkok
The Banyan Tree is an excellent combination with a stay at the Sarojin.
Experience the best of Bangkok and enjoy the spa and superb rooftop bar at the Banyan Tree.
Khao Sok Adventure
Add on a short stay at the Khao Sok National Park to your Sarojin holiday.
We highly recommend a 2 night stay at Elephant Hills including one night by the lake.
Chiang Mai Experience
137 Pillars House
Thailand's cultural capital is a base for visiting hilltribes villages and the mountains.
Stay at the boutique 137 Pillars House and add a cultural element to your Sarojin holiday.
