Desert Breeze is a boutique hotel in Swakopmund on the edge of town with a superb outlook over the dunes of the Namib Desert.
The 12 colourful bungalows are spaced out on a ridge and all have private balconies overlooking the dunes and the dry Swakop River.
Desert Breeze also has one villa, which is ideal for honeymooners or families.
The main hotel area and restaurant overlooks the desert and is a wonderful location for breakfast or to admire the evening sky.
The hotel is extremely well run and is full of character, from the unique architecture to the imposing basalt sculptures that guard the grounds.

A lot of thought and creativity has gone in to the design and architecture, which is in keeping with the location.
