Namibia’s Caprivi Strip is a long sliver of Namibia extending about 180 km from the Okavango River in the west to the Kwando River in the east and is a region of wide tropical rivers and rich wildlife.
Caprivi’s Game Parks are well worth a visit, home to elephant, crocodiles, hippos, buffalo and over 300 bird species.
Mudumu National Park on the banks of the Kwando River and Impalila Island on the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers both offer excellent game lodges from which to explore the Caprivi Strip.
