One of the best jungle lodges in Belize, Chan Chich Lodge is set on a 130,000 acres reserve in the heart of “La Selva Maya” (The Mayan Forest) in North West Belize.
Chan Chich Lodge is surrounded by pristine forest and is set right in the plaza of an ancient Mayan city.
Accommodation at Chan Chich consists of 12 free-standing thatched cabanas, a two-bedroom villa and two three-bedroom thatch roofed Casitas.
The lodge has several excellent trails in the surrounding area – a great opportunity to discover the flora and fauna and follow in the footsteps of the Maya.
Birding walks and drives, night walks, night drives, kayaking and horse riding are amongst the excursions and activities on offer at Chan Chich.
