Is this a Private Tour or a Group Tour?
All of our USA tours are private, tailor-made itineraries, designed around your preferences. We can adjust every element to suit your interests, pace, and travel style. This particular USA trip includes flights, accommodation, and car rental (where applicable).
What are the Departure Dates?
Since this is a private trip, there are no set departure dates. Let us know your preferred dates of travel, and we will find the best flights to fit your itinerary. We can advise on the best times to visit each region of the USA, as well as periods to avoid due to peak tourist seasons, inclement weather, or when travel would simply be better timed for your itinerary.
Which Airlines do you use?
We work with all major airlines flying to the USA. Depending on your departure city, we typically suggest carriers such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, and Delta. If you have a preferred airline or route, just let us know. We can also organise flights from any regional UK airport. There are direct flights from the UK to many US hubs including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.
Which Hotels do you use?
We carefully select hotels based on location, style, and quality, but we are guided by your preferences. We specialise in boutique hotels, charming historic properties, and smaller luxury hotels where available. In major cities like New York, Chicago, or San Francisco, hotel rooms can sometimes be smaller and more expensive, and many properties lean towards a more business-style design. If room size or character is important to you, please let us know and we can suggest alternatives.
We also consider proximity to attractions and transport links, as driving or using public transport in large cities can add travel time.
Please note that many US hotels charge resort or facility fees (covering amenities such as Wi-Fi, fitness centres, or pools). We try to include these in our pricing wherever possible, but as policies vary by hotel, we recommend checking with us for details at the time of booking.
Car Rental & Driving in the USA
Many of our itineraries include car rental to explore regions at your own pace. Rental cars give you freedom, but there are a few practical points to note:
-
One-way fees: Some itineraries involve picking up a car in one city and dropping it off in another. One-way fees can apply, depending on the rental company and locations. We will try to include these where possible.
-
Parking: City hotels may charge for parking, and rates can vary. We will guide you on likely costs.
-
Insurance & Navigation: We can advise on the best insurance coverage and suggest GPS or app-based navigation for ease of travel.
-
Driver Requirements: A valid driver’s licence is required. For most rentals, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended, particularly if you plan to drive across multiple states.
Ask us for more details so you can plan your trip with confidence.
Isn’t the USA expensive now?
Well, it depends on where you go! The USA offers incredible variety, from budget-friendly options to luxury experiences. We plan your trip to balance value and comfort, helping you get the most out of your accommodation, transport, and excursions. Many of our itineraries include car rental, which gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace and discover hidden gems off the beaten path.
There’s plenty to see and do without spending much, from scenic drives and hiking trails to charming small towns and local markets. Entrance fees to national parks, museums, or attractions are generally reasonable but vary by location. Private guided trips can be more expensive, but there are also plenty of small-group options available, which allow you to enjoy expert guidance while keeping costs manageable.
We can mix and match this to suit your itinerary. Dining in the USA can suit every budget — from food trucks and diners to world-class fine dining.
What’s the best pass for visiting multiple U.S. National Parks?
If you plan to visit three or more parks on your trip, the America the Beautiful Annual Pass is usually the best value. It provides access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites, including all 63 U.S. national parks. The pass is available to international visitors and can be purchased easily at the entrance station of the first park you visit. It covers entrance fees for the pass holder and all passengers in a private vehicle, or the pass holder plus up to three adults if entering on foot, by motorcycle, or bicycle.
Do note that some of the most popular national parks now require advance reservations in peak season or weekends to manage visitor numbers – ask us for more details.
What’s Included in the Price?
Your quotation will clearly show what’s included — such as flights, accommodation, car hire, and any pre-booked experiences. Local taxes, resort fees, and gratuities are often not included and vary by state or hotel. We’ll outline these clearly so there are no surprises. A deposit is usually required to confirm your booking, with the balance due closer to departure. We’ll provide full payment details when you receive your quotation.
How much Luggage can I take?
Airline baggage allowances vary, especially on domestic USA flights. We’ll make sure your internal flights match your international ticket where possible, or highlight any restrictions in advance.
Do I need a Visa or Travel Authorisation?
UK citizens can usually travel to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) for trips up to 90 days. You must apply online before travelling and receive approval prior to departure. If you are not a UK passport holder or plan to stay longer than 90 days, please let us know, as you may require a different Visa or Travel Authorisation.
Will my Mobile Phone work in the USA?
Most UK mobile networks offer USA roaming, but charges can vary. Alternatively, you can purchase a local eSIM or SIM card for better data rates. We can advise on the best options before you travel.
How do I manage Jet Lag and Time Zones?
The USA spans several time zones, so travel times can vary. We design our itineraries to allow rest time after arrival and avoid overly long driving days. Our team will also share practical tips for managing jet lag and staying refreshed.
Do you offer Eco-Friendly Travel Options?
Yes — we can recommend electric or hybrid car hire, eco-lodges, and experiences that support local communities and conservation efforts. If sustainability is important to you, we’ll tailor your itinerary accordingly.
Can you arrange Tours and Activities?
Absolutely. We can pre-book a variety of activities, from city tours and food experiences to guided hikes, national park passes, and scenic train journeys. Many experiences can also be added once you're in the USA.
Do I need Travel Insurance?
Comprehensive travel insurance is essential when visiting the USA, as healthcare costs can be high. We strongly recommend a policy that covers medical treatment, cancellations, and car rental coverage.
Do you cater for Solo Travellers & Families?
Yes! The USA is very welcoming to solo travellers, and as an English-speaking country, it’s easy to get around. Major cities are simple to navigate, and beyond the cities, national parks, scenic drives, ranch stays, and small-group tours offer safe and rewarding ways to explore.
The USA is also perfect for families, offering a huge variety of experiences to suit all ages. We can tailor itineraries to your interests — whether that’s Disney, wildlife adventures, cultural experiences, American sports, or history. From bustling cities to scenic national parks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy together.
How does the Booking Process work?
Once we’ve discussed your preferences, we’ll design a custom itinerary for your review. After approval, we’ll confirm all arrangements and send detailed travel documents before departure. We also provide 24-hour local assistance throughout your trip, along with contact details for our US partners should you need help while travelling.
How long have you been organising holidays to the USA?
We’ve been creating tailor-made USA holidays for close to 10 years. Our team has extensive experience in the travel industry, organising trips to the USA and beyond, ensuring every journey is seamless, flexible, and memorable.
Why Travel with Jasmine Holidays?
We pride ourselves on personal service, expert knowledge, and attention to detail. Every USA itinerary is crafted by a specialist who’s experienced the destination first-hand. We’re also ATOL-protected, giving you full financial peace of mind when booking your trip.
Denver
Aside from being a hub for visitors wishing to get up close and personal with the ski slopes of the Rocky Mountains, the capital of Colorado is a destination city in its own right.

There are a number of extreme-tour companies and rental agencies for the brave hearted, but for something more mellow, join a beer tasting or Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey Tour, or visit the picturesque Balistreri Vineyards.

Wyoming
Wyoming is a state of vast skies, rugged landscapes, and a rich Western heritage, where wide-open plains meet soaring mountains and historic towns tell stories of the frontier. In the northeastern part of the state, Cody, Sheridan, and Ucross capture the essence of this iconic region.
Cody, the gateway to Yellowstone’s east entrance, celebrates its frontier roots with attractions like the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, rodeos, and scenic drives through the Big Horn Basin. Sheridan sits at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains, where historic downtown streets are lined with art galleries, boutique shops, and classic Western saloons. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, horseback ride, or fish, while museums such as the Brinton Museum and King’s Saddlery & Museum showcase the region’s rich cultural history.
The tiny community of Ucross is surrounded by sprawling ranchlands, offering a glimpse of Wyoming’s traditional cattle country and the wide-open landscapes that define this part of the state. Together, these towns showcase the spirit, culture, and natural beauty of northeastern Wyoming.
Yellowstone National Park
A visit to the much treasured Yellowstone National Park is likely to leave you spellbound.
Situated largely in Wyoming, with parts stretching into Idaho and Montana, the park features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, waterfalls, lush forests and gushing geysers, including its most famous, ‘Old Faithful’, which shoots eruptions of boiling water over 50 metres into the air.
Yellowstone also has one of the world’s largest petrified forests. Along the Grand Loop Road, you can see scenic grandeur and top attractions at your leisure.
Wildlife abounds – with bison, moose, elk, bear and wolves, and around 300 species of birds. There are nine visitors’ centres and 12 camping grounds to help you along your journey.
Jackson
The laid-back, Wyoming town of Jackson serves as an excellent base for travellers looking to take advantage of the numerous outdoor recreational opportunities on offer in the remarkable surrounding wilderness of Jackson Hole Valley.
As the town is situated close to the south end of the impressive Grand Teton National Park, it is known as a gateway to two of America’s most renowned national parks, Grand Teton itself and Yellowstone.
While wintertime skiing is the name of the game with plenty of facilities available in the nearby ski resorts, in summer the town transforms into a mecca for travellers looking to admire and participate in boundless summer beauty and activities.
Don't miss: the famed Elk Horn Gates that lead into the town's lovely, tree-shaded town square where locals come to relax. Jackson’s combination of beautiful mountain scenery, Old West heritage, tourist amenities and celebrity residents give this small town a unique atmosphere which is simultaneously cosmopolitan and frontier.
Dutch John, Utah
Dutch John is a quiet community near the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat. The area offers fishing, boating, and hiking amid striking red-rock canyons.
