This safari holiday showcases the very best of what Zambia has to offer and has you staying in some of the most welcoming and family friendly lodges and safari camps.

Begin this Africa family holiday with three days at spectacular Victoria Falls. Activities that all the family can participate in include sunset cruises on the Zambezi River, elephant-back riding, Victoria Falls visits, local market visits and scenic flights over the Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa and white water rafting and bungee jumping are just a couple of the adventure activities on offer.

From Victoria Falls, you will fly to the South Luangwa National Park where you will spend a further 7 days of incredible safari staying in a mix of lodges and bush camps with your own dedicated specialist guide and vehicle.

Dependent upon the children’s ages, you will stay at a combination of permanent camps/lodges and more remote bush camps. Also, you will have a two tier level of comforts to decide from.

After your safari, you will travel by plane back to the UK.

Your Family Safari Holidays will be led by one of the pioneering and leading safari operators in Zambia, Norman Carr Safaris who have gone to tremendous lengths in recent years to enhance the Zambia family safari experience.

Special family rooms and houses have been added to several camps, meaning families can remain closer, providing extra comfort and security.

Day 1: Fly UK to Livingstone

Overnight flight from the UK to Lusaka on Kenya Airways, via Nairobi.

Day 2: Livingstone – Victoria Falls

Arrive Lusaka and catch onward flight to Livingstone.

On arrival into Livingstone, you will be met and driven to Waterberry Lodge which is located upstream of Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Accommodation is in a Family bedroom. Immerse yourselves into this comfortable and friendly lodge for the next few days where you can enjoy some amazing and varied activities.

Overnight Waterberry Lodge. Full board included.

Days 3 - 4: Livingstone – Victoria Falls

A morning tour to Victoria Falls is included.

Other optional activities include scenic sunset boat trips on the Zambezi River, fishing in the Zambezi, canoeing, game drives and local village visits.

For the more adventurous there are scenic flights over the falls, bungee jumping and white water rafting.

Overnight Waterberry Lodge. Full board included.

Day 5: Fly: Lusaka to Mfuwe, South Luangwa National Park

Arrive Mfuwe where your dedicated driver/ranger and private vehicle will waiting to meet and drive you to Nsolo in the central areas of the South Luangwa National Park where you will stay three nights.

The emphasis in this area will be 4WD game drives and walking safaris (only suitable for 12ys and over).

Overnight Nsolo Bush Camp. Full board and Game Activities included.
