Jing's Residence
Jing's Residence is a restored courtyard residence built 260 years ago, hidden within the Pingyao’s city walls, the perfect place to take in the atmosphere of one of China’s most alluring destinations.
The house was originally a shop and home of a silk merchant during the Qing Dynasty.
Renovated by famous architect Antonia Ocha, Jing’s Residence maintains the original courtyards with some contemporary touches in the rooms.
What’s so Special?
Full of atmosphere, Jing’s Residence is the former home of a Silk trader and is furnished with period pieces and objet d’art evoking past times.
Tall wooden windows, braided bamboo floors, ceilings made of rice paper, lacquer-ware chests and oil lamps – step into a hotel which perfectly reflects its location.
