The Islands of Siankaba is a luxury boutique retreat located on two private islands in the middle of the Zambezi River between Victoria Falls, and the Chobe National Park.

Islands of Siankaba has only 7 luxury chalets and offers outstanding cuisine and exceptional standards.

The chalets are uniquely designed to maximize privacy and spectacular views of the Zambezi River.

The unique feature of the lodge is the series of walkways and bridges that link the two islands together.

The quirky design incorporates the use of natural materials that blend in with the feel of the surrounding bush while taking full advantage of the beauty of the riverine setting.

The feel of Islands of Siankaba is one of a temporary camp, brought about by the use of wood and canvas in the construction.

The setting is quiet and unspoilt in an area of exceptional natural beauty. Beds in the Luxury Rooms are positioned to face the Zambezi. Waking up to the view of the sun rising over the Zambezi River is a very special experience.

Bear in mind

The lodge is situated 24 miles from Victoria Falls and is almost equidistant to Chobe National Park in Botswana on two islands on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River.

Out of respect to the man who had the vision to encourage the lodge development, the lodge is named after the local headman of the area (Siankaba).

His name in the Toka- Leya language means ‘witch-finder’ as apparently his ancestors were adept at spotting witches in their midst!
