This unique eco-lodge is nestled in the dense rainforest above the Macal River in the Mayan Mountains of Belize.
Black Rock Lodge has 20 cabins offering stunning views of Black Rock Canyon, the Macal River and the surrounding rainforest and wildlife.
All cabins have en-suite bathrooms and closet areas. Simply decorated, cabins display artwork crated by local artisans and crafts people.
There are also 2 modern décor riverfront suites, open-plan style accommodation in a magnificent private setting, ideal for honeymooners.
The restaurant at this eco-friendly lodge serves delicious food and uses fresh, organic vegetables grown in their own vegetable garden.
Black Rock Lodge’s stunning rainforest surroundings offer abundant opportunity for exploration and adventure.
Outdoor activities include canoeing down the pristine Macal River, horseback riding to Xunantunich, hiking, bird-watching amongst others.

The staff comes from the surrounding communities of San Ignacio, Bullet Tree and Santa Elena. They all have a wide knowledge of the area.
We love the hammocks provided in each cabin to enjoy the spectacular surroundings in total relaxation.
Cabins are airy one-room structures built to take advantage of the fresh mountain breezes.
