Panamá enjoys of a tropical climate, meaning high temperatures all year round. The average temperature is around 27°C during the day and a bit chilly at night.
Temperatures will vary whether you are on the coast which tends to be hot and humid or on the highlands, where temperature will drop with the altitude.
Panamá offers two marked season, the dry season which stretches from December until April and the rainy season which runs from May to December with heavy rain showers that can last from 15 minutes up to 2 hours.
Dry season coincides with winter and Easter holidays (Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Holy Week) so prices are much higher during this period and we strongly recommend to book your flights and accommodation in advance.
