Bulaweyo is Zimbabwe’s second city and is a pleasant and very welcoming city in the heart of Zimbabwe. Bulaweyo’s wide boulevards, colonial buildings, elevated location and laid-back atmosphere are contrary to many visitors’ preconceptions. Bulaweyo has several cultural attractions within the city and several worthy sights close by including the Matobo Hills, which are under an hour away. Many visitors on a tour of Zimbabwe use Bulaweyo as an entry or exit point into Zimbabwe due to the excellent air links with South Africa.
