Begin your African safari holiday with three days at spectacular Victoria Falls. Activities that all the family can participate in include sunset cruises on the Zambezi River, elephant-back riding, Victoria Falls visits, local market visits and scenic flights over the Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa and white water rafting and bungee jumping are just a couple of the adventure activities on offer.

From Victoria Falls, you will fly to the Lower Zambezi National Park which is reknown for its’ huge variety of wildlife and stunning lodges. You will spend 3 nights here during which time you can enjoy 4WD game drives, walking safaris (age dependent), and canoeing and motor boat safaris. You have everything right on your doorstep!

From here you will fly to the incredible South Luangwa National Park for a 6 night safari split between two or three camps where you will once more be able to see and get close to some amazing big cats. This park is well known for offering the best game viewing in Zambia, but it’s also famous for its’ consistent sightings of the beautiful Leopard, which is one of the most photogenic of cats.

Day 1: Fly UK to Livingstone

Overnight flight from the UK to Livingstone.

Day 2: Livingstone – Victoria Falls

On arrival into Livingstone, you will be met and driven to your preferred lodge which is located upstream of Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Accommodation is in a rondavel chalet style bedroom. Immerse yourselves into this comfortable and friendly lodge for the next few days where you can enjoy some amazing and varied activities.

We recommend Waterberry Lodge because of its’ intimacy and value for money. For those looking for something more special, then we’d recommend Sussi & Chuma and if you prefer a more safari style camp on the banks of the upper Zambezi then Sindabezi Island Camp is really special.

Overnight in Livingstone area. Full board included.

Days 3 - 4: Livingstone – Victoria Falls

A morning tour to Victoria Falls is included.

Other optional activities include scenic sunset boat trips on the Zambezi River, fishing in the Zambezi, canoeing, game drives and local village visits.

For the more adventurous there are scenic flights over the falls, bungee jumping and white water rafting.

Day 5: Lower Zambezi National Park

Today transfer by road to Livingstone airport and take a scenic flight to the Lower Zambezi National Park where you will stay 4 nights at one of many quite wonderful camps and lodges, most of which are built along the river banks of the Zambezi River.

After check-in, briefing, lunch and afternoon tea, enjoy a choice of game viewing activities in the afternoon.

Day 6 - 7: Lower Zambezi National Park

Enjoy morning & Afternoon game viewing activities in the National Park. Whilst here, you can participate in 4WD game drives, walking safaris, fishing, boating and canoe safari’s.
