Sule Shangri-la was formerly Traders Yangon. Although it is a larger hotel than we normally like (there are almost 500 rooms), Sule Shangri-la is a great option for a luxury hotel in Yangon.
There a few other choices now in Yangon in a similar class, such as The Pullman, The Novotel, The Melia, The Pan Pacific and Lotte Hotels but Shangri-la is a brand we have always preferred.
