Guided Walks

Be transported back in time when you pass through the traditional Bedouin “Khan Zaman” Tent and discover the ancient medicinal uses of the plants encountered along your walk through the desert, en-route to the Saffron Tower. Once there, enjoy an uninterrupted view of Wadi Khadeeja, in which the resort is situated.

A short drive brings you to Al Janas Mountain, where you can walk up to the Peak and discover an ancient hidden village or to take a meander into the heart of the majestic Hajar Mountains, following the valley floor and passing amongst giant boulders as you go. Unusual geological formations capture the imagination and add mystery to the landscape here.

Horse Riding

Horses and camels have long been a part of Middle Eastern culture, from camel caravans through the desert to elegant Arabian horses. The resort’s equestrian center offers lessons and experiences for guests of all ages and skill levels. Group and private lessons are available for experienced and beginner riders, including children. Spacious paddocks, an arena, and a horse-walking arena are among the facilities for all levels of riders, with ponies on site for our little guests.
