Okonjima
Owned by the Hanssen family, Okonjima is set in the Omboroko Mountains and is now home to the Africat foundation, which aims to rescue, relocate and rehabilitate cheetah and leopard.
Okonjima consist of 5 different types of accommodation, ranging from the main lodge with its comfortable rooms to the Omboroko - Okonjima’s exclusive camp. Each has been luxuriously decorated and features en-suite facilities, mosquito nets and bright African fabrics.
For greater privacy and a bit more luxury, the Bush Suite has its own chef and guide.
Activities at Okonjima, include game drives to track leopard and cheetah and to learn about the work of the Africat Foundation.

Okonjima own several farms up in the mountains that have been split into very large enclosures where cheetah and leopard roam free.
