A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Misibis Bay Resort is situated along the southern tip of Cagraray Island in Bacacay, Albay.

Reached by a 50-minute flight from Manila to Legazpi, then a scenic one hour overland journey (or 30 minutes by boat), Misibis Bay is suited for couples and families and is one of the top luxury beach resorts in the Philippines.

Misibis Bay has just 32 Suites and Villas set amongst the tropical gardens.

Facilities include 3 swimming pools, spa, dive centre and lots of activities. There is plenty to see in this part of the Philippines and Misibis Bay offers excursions to Mayon Volcano, Legazpi and beyond.

Families are well catered for at Misibis Bay as the resort has a Kid’s room (Wii, Playstation, Xbox etc) and there is a great choice of adventurous activities for children and grown-ups.

What’s so Special?

Misibis Bay offers a high standard of accommodation and plentiful activities as well as excursion options. Many of the activities including non-motorised water sports are free of charge. A free sunset Volcano viewing cruise is sometimes offered.

The views of Mayon volcano are quite stunning. Take a Hobie cat out sailing and admire the volcano from the sea.

Misibis Bay is a great location to round off a tour of the Philippines.

Bear in mind

We don’t recommend Misibis Bay as a stand-alone beach resort destination for most people but this is a great place to wind up a holiday to the Philippines with some luxury for a few nights.

Rooms & Villas

11 Ground and First Floor Junior Suite Deluxe Rooms (45 sq. m.) look over the lagoon pool.

3 Premiere Villas (50 sq. m.) are located on the ground floor by the pool and look out over the pool and gardens.

11 One Bedroom Deluxe Villas (65 sq. m.) can accommodate up to 4 adults with views over the lagoon pool. Private gardens are a nice feature.

5 One Bedroom Premiere Villas (110 sq. m.) are situated on the second and third floors and offer Lagoon Pool and Beach views. These villas feature outdoor Jacuzzis, chaise-lounges and wrap-around verandas.

2 Junior Suite Premiere Villas (45 sq. m) enjoy an unsurpassed beachfront location with a private veranda.

3 Luxury Villas (50 sq. m) are right on the beachfront and feature private pools, private verandas and large luxury bathrooms. Wrapped by glass, these rooms are spacious, light and luxurious.

Dela Playa

Dela Playa Beach Grill and Tapas Bar offers seasonal premium grilled seafood and steaks.

Misibis is great at organising adventurous activities including ziplining and early morning sunrise ATV rides.

The views over Mount Mayon from the viewpoint are spectacular.
