Located at 1,400 metres above sea level, along 8 km of winding road from Al Hamrah to Hail Al Shas, The View isn’t just an ‘Eco Luxe’ retreat, but an experience where nature holds pride of place.
Just a 2.5 hours drive from Muscat and 45 minutes from Nizwa, The View is an ideal getaway with 15 exclusive luxury tents, a great base for an overnight stay or a longer sojourn into the Jebel Shams Mountains to explore this fascinating region of Oman.
Nizwa, the World Heritage site of Bahla Fort, Jabreen Castle and the rim walk on Jebel Shams are all great sights within easy reach of The View.
The View is also within walking distance of an old Omani town, Al Hamra, which is great for a bit of exploration.

Luxury Tents
The View offers 15 exclusive luxury tents in two categories. 7 Front tents with terrace overlook the valley whilst 8 Rear Tens with Veranda overlook the courtyard.
Tents are made with a high quality cotton fabric and have windows that let in natural light.
Tents have en-suite bathrooms with WC, shower and hot and cold running water.
Each tent has a deluxe bed with high quality mattress and pillows along with chest of drawers and side tables.

The View Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and buffet dinner with views of the canyon from the restaurant and the deck.
