Botswana November

Everything is gearing up for the summer months ahead in November. The weather continues to warm up and the days become longer.

November is a very good time of year to visit Botswana.

It's dry and warm during the day time with cooler evenings.

October and November are the hottest months in Botswana, so be prepared for high temperatures during the day, in the mid to high 30's, occasionally even hitting 40 degrees.

November can sometimes be cooled earlier, depending on the arrival of the rains.

The summer clouds start to build now which can bring dramatic thunderstorms in the afternoons. The rain is a welcome relief to the animals and plant life after the dry season.

Safari in Botswana in November is fabulous as all the antelope species calve at this time of year making for excellent game viewing.

The bush starts to thicken up as the new growth comes through and the migrant birds from the Northern Hemisphere start to arrive.

Temperatures can start to peak in the mid to high thirties later in the month.
