Lanson Place is a Hong Kong boutique hotel in a great Causeway Bay location on Hong Kong Island, ideally located for shopping, dining and exploring Hong Kong.
Lanson Place offers hints of ‘Belle Epoque’ and classical elegance on arrival, which morph into a graceful, yet homely interior, providing something of a sanctuary amidst bustling Hong Kong Island.
Lanson Place isn’t quite a true boutique hotel (there are 194 rooms), but is nevertheless a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and offers discreet service and a relaxing ambience, in contrast to many of the larger hotels in bustling Hong Kong.
Lanson Place’s concept tends towards Serviced Apartments as rooms feature kitchenettes and there is a self-service laundry and a nice little gym.
Rooms are spacious at Lanson Place, with a soft neutral colour scheme, sofa, flat screen TV, work desk and small kitchenette.
What’s so Special?
Lanson Place has a superb location in Hong Kong Island’s Causeway Bay – lots of facilities, shopping and transport on the doorstep. Causeway Bay MTR Station is only 2-3 minutes walk away.
Rooms at Lanson Place are very large by Hong Kong standards and come with some great features including flat screen TV’s and trendy glass walled bathrooms. Rooms have nice showers and very comfy beds.
Breakfast is served in a very relaxing lounge area on the first floor with a continental buffet and hot items ordered a-la-carte. The lounge extends into a relaxing cocktail bar and library area.
Superior Room
Stylish and comfortable, the Superior Rooms are a spacious 35 sq. m. The room size is notable for Hong Kong, where rooms almost half the size are not uncommon.
Bathrooms are a decent size and include a very nice rainforest shower and single vanity.
Rooms have small kitchenettes, essentially 2 electric hobs and kitchen utensils.
Premier Room
The Premier Rooms are slightly larger than the Superior Rooms (39 sq. m.) and feature fabulous floor to ceiling window.
Deluxe Room
Deluxe Rooms are larger still and feature a sofa area.
