Pangkor Island is a jungle clad island off the Northwest Coast of Peninsula Malaysia and offers a beach destination with jungle clad interiors.

Pangkor Island is easily accessible by a short ferry ride from the mainland at Lumut.

Whilst Pangkor's beaches aren't the best in Malaysia, we do recommend a stay at Tiger Rock on Pangkor Island for those looking for a homely laid back island retreat for a few days, perhaps whilst touring Malaysia.

Pangkor Island isn't to be confused with neighbouring Pangkor Laut which means 'Little Pangkor'.
