Cusco & the Sacred Valley

Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu are absolute highlights of any holiday to Peru.

Cusco is a must on a tour of Peru and is a town easily explored on foot, well-known for its nightlife and also for being something of a foodie’s paradise.

Discover San Pedro Market, colonial Plaza de Armas and the charming San Blas neighbourhood with its artisans workshops and beautiful pedestrian streets.

Machu Picchu

From Cusco head to the Sacred Valley for amazing Inca ruins in Moray and Ollantaytambo as well as Pisac, with its famous market.

Machu Picchu of course requires little introduction - the most dramatic and well-known Inca site in the world. Spend the whole day exploring the old citadel and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Finally, take a deep breath (literally!) before leaving and wonder how the Incas built this spectacular city in the sky.

Lima

Lima is for many, one of the most pleasant and unexpected surprises of a holiday to Peru. This is a huge metropolis, dominated by impressive cliffs but softened by an intoxicating ocean breeze.

Lima certainly has a buzz and a lively ambience to it, along with a fabulous food scene and rich cultural heritage which deserves exploration.

Lima’s historic colonial centre is surrounded by interesting suburbs including the artisan district of Barranco and Miraflores with its trendy shops, amazing restaurants and thrilling nightlife.

Taste and discover why Lima is considered by many to be South America’s culinary capital.

Lake Titicaca

Magical Lake Titicaca, considered sacred amongst indigenous Andean people, is the highest navigable lake in the world.

Cruising Lake Titicaca is like a journey across the roof of the world and at night, the stars, undimmed by city lights may never have seemed so close or so bright.

The lake can be visited from Puno on the Peruvian side or from Copacabana on the Bolivian side.

There are more than seventy islands in Lake Titicaca, including the rare Uros floating Islands, built out of reeds.

On Amantani and Taquile Islands it seems as if time has stood still and traditional Andean lifestyles prevail.

Arequipa & Canyon Country

The charming city of Arequipa welcomes visitors with its beautiful colonial-era buildings, cobbled streets, exciting nightlife, fabulous food scene and local markets.

Visitors tend to extend their stay in Arequipa, entranced by the city’s laid-back vibe.

Guarded by the impressive Misty Volcano, Arequipa is the perfect base from which to explore the world’s two deepest canyons, Colca and Cotahuasi.

Enjoy a 2-day hike in Colca Canyon across dramatic scenery or contemplate the majestic flight of the condors at Cruz del Condor view point, one of Peru’s most visited places.

Northwest of Arequipa, the Cotahuasi, the world’s deepest canyon, offers exciting trekking adventures for experienced and intrepid travellers.
