This guided Oman Holiday is a great way to experience the best of Oman in comfort and included a visit to the far less visited south of Oman.
Begin with time to explore Muscat with its mosques, souk, fish market and attractive corniche.
From Muscat you'll head inland to the historic town of Nizwa, visiting some of the best forts in the region and discovering the way of life in the Hajar Mountains. You'll have a night in Nizwa and a night up in the mountains where the views are spectacular.
From the mountains you'll head to the desert for a night in the Wahiba Sands, part of a vast expanse of sandy desert known as the Empty Quarter or Rub Al Khali.
From the desert head to the coast and the Turtle Sanctuary at Ras al Jinz where you should be able to see turtles hatching on the beach.
Drive back along the stunning coastline to Muscat via Wadi Shab and the Bimah sinkhole.
From Muscat fly to the south of Oman, home to the ancient Kingdom of Dofar. This is a land of Frankincense trees, unspoilt coastline, rugged limestone mountains and the fabled Empty Quarter desert which stretched across the bottom third of the Arabian Peninsula.
You'll have 4 nights in Salalah, giving you ample time to discover this beautiful part of Oman.
