This itinerary offers a fabulous 9 day safari holiday in Kenya, driving and flying between three incredibly diverse and unique parks in Kenya.

Begin in the Amboseli National Park, famous for its immense and truly wonderful herds of Elephant.

From Amboseli, head on to the Ol Pajeta Conservancy which is renowned for its Rhino Conservation project as well as the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

The Masai Mara National Park where you will spend 4 nights split between two different camps and locations in the eco-reserve area of the Greater Masai Mara is the most famous reserve in Kenya.

This region is known for its big cat sightings as well as opportunities to see other endangered and rarer species such as Rhino, Aardwolf, Wild Dog as well as the Big 5.

Bird watching is also fantastic, especially in August when storks come to nest.

This itinerary is perfectly suitable for first time safari visitors, couples, honeymooners and families.

Day 1: UK to Nairobi 

Overnight flight from UK to Nairobi.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

On arrival into Nairobi, you will be met and take a shared road transfer to Porini Amboseli Camp where you will stay for 2 nights.

Overnight at Porini Amboseli Camp. All meals, game activities and visit to Maasai Village included.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, explore the Amboseli National Park and the Selankay Conservancy in search of the big game, especially the vast herds of Elephant.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, fly back to Nairobi’s domestic Wilson Airport where you will catch your onward flight to Nanyuki right by the Equator.

On arrival you will be met and driven to Porini Rhino Camp where you will stay 2 nights.

Afternoon game drive into the Ol Pajeta Conservancy which is home to some wonderful varied wildlife.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Breakfast. Spend your day exploring the Ol Pajeta Conservancy in search of big game.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast, fly to the Ol Seki airstrip in the heart of the Masai Mara National Park.

On arrival your guides and vehicle will meet you and take you on a guided game drive to Porini Mara Camp, where you will stay 2 nights in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy.

Amboseli

Amboseli is one of the oldest safari destinations in Kenya and formerly part of the southern Maasai Mara.

Consisting of wide plains gently rolling southwards from Nairobi, a safari in Amboseli can make for one of the best safaris in Kenya.

Amboseli is justly renowned for its elephant population and is a great Kenya safari option for those looking for elephant encounters.

To the south of Amboseli stands majestic Kilimanjaro, the iconic sentinal of East Africa.
