This affordable 26-day multi-country tour offers a unique experience to discover 4 African nations and explore the very best each has to offer.

The trip starts off in Cape Town, South Africa where you will spend 3 nights. 

Then, explore Namibia on a 15-day journey of self-drive across the country. 

Stay at different camps and locations discovering amazing wildlife, landscapes and Namibia most iconic places including the Skeleton Coast or the Etosha National Park. 

Take a flight onto Botswana’s famed Okavango Delta and Private Linyanti concessions where you will see wonderful wildlife. 

Finally, this amazing 26-day journey ends in Zambia, where you will spend a couple of days at the stunning Victoria Falls.

Day 1:  Fly UK to Cape Town 

Overnight flight from the UK to Cape Town. 

Day 2: Cape Town

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Four Rosmead Boutique Guest House.

Your hire car will be delivered to your hotel in the late afternoon for your usage.

Overnight at Four Rosmead Boutique Guest House. Group C car hire included. 

Days 3 - 4: Cape Town

After Breakfast, explore Cape Town and the surrounding Cape Peninsular at your own leisure.

Overnight at the Four Rosmead Boutique Guest House. Breakfast and Group C car hire included.

Day 5: Windhoek

After breakfast return your hire car to Cape Town Airport prior to checking in for your flight back to Windhoek. 

Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Olive Grove Guest House.

In the afternoon, you will be given a briefing, maps and vouchers for your forthcoming overland exploratory self-drive tour of Namibia.

Overnight at the Olive Grove Guest House. Breakfast included.  

Day 6: Windhoek – Okonjima Farm

Breakfast. Drive from Windhoek to Okonjima Farm.

Journey time is approximately 3 hours' drive from Windhoek (excluding stops).

You should plan to arrive before 2 pm so you can settle in before the afternoon activity.

Okonjima is home to the Africat Foundation, which works with farmers and the public to conserve the big cat species in Namibia.

Overnight at Okonjima Plains Camp. Breakfast and dinner included. 

Day 7: Okonjima

After breakfast, you will participate in the lodges’ morning and afternoon scheduled activities. 

Overnight at Okonjima Plains Camp. Breakfast and dinner included. 

Day 8: Okonjima, Otjiwarongo

After breakfast, participate in morning and afternoon shared in-house lodge activities.

Overnight at Okonjima Plains Camp. All meals and activities included.

Day 9: Anderssons Camp, Central Etosha National Park

After breakfast, drive towards Tsumeb, passing by the Waterberg Plateau Park heading towards the southern-central Anderson Gate of the Etosha National Park.

The journey takes approximatley 4.5 hours' drive (excluding stops).

You will stay three nights at Anderssons Camp, using this as your base from which to enjoy daily exploratory self-drive trips.

Professional Lodge lead (payable locally) 4x4 game drives into and out of the Etosha National Park are also available.

Overnight at Anderssons Camp. Brekfast and dinner included. 

Days 10 - 11: Anderssons Camp, Central Etosha 

After breakfast. Enjoy morning game drive into the Etosha National Park.

In the afternoon and after dinner, activities include game drives within the concession.

Day 12: Camp Kipwe, Damaraland

After breakfast you will drive west and then south down to the Damaraland region which is located near to the dry Huab River.

The journey takes approximately 5 hours' drive (excluding stops).

This is a fabulous area to enjoy seeing some uniquely adapted wildlife like the Desert Elephant.

If you are fortunate, you may also see Cheetah and Lion as well as a multitude of antelope species and rare birds.

In addition to the wonderful wildlife and landscape in the area, you can also enjoy some incredible ancient rock art done by the ancient San (Bushman) people who inhabited this area.

Overnight at Camp Kipwe. Breakfast and dinner included. 

Day 13: Camp Kipwe, Damaraland 

After breakfast, join the lodges personally run game drives or guided walks.

Overnight at Damaraland Camp. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 14: Cornerstone Guest House, Swakopmund

After Breakfast, continue your self-drive adventure.

Head towards the coast where the scenery changes from mountains to seemingly endless gravel plains leading to the sea.

You should head to Cape Cross first, where you will see a 10000 strong Seal Colony before continuing south onto and into Swakopmund where you will stay 3 nights.

Swakopmund is a fascinating old style Germanic town and nearby you have a wide range of fun and exciting activities you can participate in.

This journey takes arpoximately 4 hours' drive (exluding stops). 

Overnight at Cornerstone Guest House. Breakfast included.

Day 15-16: Cornerstone Guest House, Swakopmund 

After breakfast, full day trip to the marine sanctuary of Sandwich Harbour.

This is a unique environment which comprises towering sand dunes, a freshwater lagoon and the wild Atlantic Ocean.

Driving along the Skeleton Coast beach is a fabulously exciting day trip. 

Overnight at Cornerstone Guest House. Breakfast included. 

Day 17: Swakopmund to Hoodia Desert Lodge, Sossusvlei 

After breakfast, you will drive inland towards the south eastwards to Sossusvlei region.

This journey takes arpoximately 6 hours' drive (excluding stops).

Here you will spend the next couple of days enjoying the desert landscape and world famous dunes of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.

Overnight at Hoodia Desert Lodge. Breakfast inlcuded. 

Day 18: Hoodia Desert Lodge, Sossusvlei 

After breakfast, day trip to see the dunes of Sossusvlei with the lodges in-house specialist guides (payable locally).

You can also head out on your own and do the sightseeing independently. 

Overnight at Hoodia Desert Lodge. Breakfast included. 

Day 19: Windhoek

After breakfast. Return to Windhoek. This journey takes arpoximately 5 hours' drive (excluding stops).

This afternoon, your hire car will be collected from the guesthouse.

Overnight at Olive Grove Guesthouse. Breakfast Included. 

Day 20: Maun

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Windhoek Airport where you will catch your Air Namibia flight to Maun in Botswana.

On arrival into Maun, you will be met and transferred to the Thamalakane River Lodge. 

Overnight at Thamalakane River Lodge. Breakfast Included. 

Day 21: Kwara Camp, Okavango Delta 

After breakfast, transfer to Maun Airport where you will travel by light aircraft to Kwara Camp, located in the northern sector of the Okavango Delta.

After lunch and afternoon tea, head out on an afternoon game viewing activity. 

Overnight at Kwara Camp. All meals and game activities included. 

Day 22: Kwara Camp Camp, Okavango Delta 

After breakfast enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities in the Okavango Delta. 

Overnight at Kwara Camp. All meals and game activities included.  

Day 23: Lebala Camp, Linyanti 

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your onward flight to Lebala Camp in the private Kwando Concession. 

You will be met and driven in a custom-made 4x4 Safari vehicle to Lebala Camp.

Following lunch and afternoon tea, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive. 

Overnight Lebala Camp. All meals and game activities included. 

Day 24: Lebala Camp, Linyanti

After breakfast, head out on morning and afternoon game drives exploring the immediate area around camp.

Overnight Lebala Camp. All meals and game activities included. 

Day 25: Waterberry Lodge, Livingstone 

Breakfast. This morning, after your game drive, you will travel by scenic flight to Kasane.

On arrival you will be met and then transferred by road across the border to Livingstone in Zambia, where you will stay 2 nights at the delightful Waterberry Lodge. 

Please note that your stay at Waterberry Lodge includes in-house localised activities and a tour of the Victoria Falls, Livingstone side, (Park permit not included). 

Overnight at Waterberry Lodge. All meals included. 

Day 26: Waterberry Lodge, Livingstone 

After breakfast, explore Victoria Falls. Other activities are also available in the surrounding area.

Overnight at Waterberry Lodge. All meals included. 

Day 27: Johannesburg

Breakfast and morning at leisure.

Transfer to Livinsgtone Airport where you will catch your onward flights to the UK via Johannesburg.  

Day 28: Arrive UK 

Arrive back in UK.
