Maca Villas is one of our favourite boutique villa resorts in Seminyak. With completely private pool villas dotted amongst village-like tropically landscaped gardens, Maca Villas offers a sophisticated retreat for couples looking for a luxury Bali holiday or a special honeymoon to Bali.
With just 25 private pool villas, Maca Villas Bali is one of Seminyak’s most intimate and best value luxury pool villas. The villas are spacious with a great combination of indoor and outdoor living.
Located in a quiet area of Seminyak, Maca Villas is just a short walk from Seminyak Beach and just around the corner from the popular Potato Head Beach Club.
Seminyak’s array of bars and restaurants are within easy reach.
Each villa enjoys private butler service which means breakfast can be served in-villa.
What’s so Special?
Villas are very modern and specious with generously sized pools (enough to swim a few strokes).
We love the outdoor Bale in the Deluxe Villas overlooking the private pool, a lovely place to crash during the day in between dips into the pool.
The high ceilinged villas create a feeling of space and being able to step straight out of the bedroom into the private pool is a nice feature.
We appreciate a quality coffee at Jasmine Holidays, and Maca Villas makes a great cappuccino at Ippolito Café by the resort entrance.
They claim to make the best coffee in Bali and we are loath to disagree.
Pool Villas
One Bedroom Villas are completely private with lush tropical landscaping.
Capturing plenty of natural sunlight, the villas include a spacious and well-appointed living and dining area, a restful master bedroom and a luxurious en-suite bathroom.
The living room opens onto a spacious timber sundeck, ideal for relaxing before dipping into the private pool.
Deluxe Pool Villa
In addition to the features of the Pool Villas, Deluxe Pool Villas feature a shaded poolside daybed (bale) perfect for idling the hours away.
Two Bedroom Deluxe Pool Villa
The large two bedroom villas include a very spacious living and dining area with two roomy equal-sized master bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
The living area leads onto a spacious outdoor lounge area, perfect for relaxing before a swim in your private pool.
The Two Bedroom Deluxe Villas also includes a shaded poolside daybed (bale).

Glass-enclosed and fully air-conditioned, dinners are sublime with romantic candle-lit tables and gastronomic French delights – anything from Coffin Bay Oysters to Escargot Mille Feuille – beautifully executed and accompanied by a superb range of wines and cocktails.
Ippolito
A Singapore brand micro café introduced for the first time in Bali, MACA’s Ippolito Coffee Café brings award-winning Papa Palheta specialty grade coffee beans from around the world – and freshly roasts, grinds and brews them on-site.
Enjoy superior lattes and cappuccinos – simply the finest coffee in Bali – on the charming open-air deck or at the coffee bar.
Nearby Dining
There are a few local places to eat within walking distance of MACA Villas.
The main stretch of restaurants in Seminyak is just a little bit too far to walk to, though a taxi costs next to nothing.
Mr Potato Head Beach Club is a popular spot and just a short stroll from the hotel.
Fine Dining options in Seminyak such as Ku De Ta are also very easily reached.
