Enjoy some cycling around Lima to enjoy the best of the city.

From Lima fly to the Amazon for 3 nights in a villa at the luxurious Refugio Amazonas. Discover the best of the Amazon whilst enjoying luxury and privacy.

From the Amazon, fly to Cusco and stay in the former capital of the Inca Empire. Visit the beautiful Sacred Valley on your way to majestic Machu Picchu, one of the highlights of any tour of South America.

Spend the night in the amazing Sky Lodge, built on to the side of a cliff over hanging the Sacred Valley.

Enjoy some horse riding in the Sacred Valley before continuing on to Machu Picchu.

Head back to Lima for your flight back to the UK or on to another South American destination.

Day 1: Fly UK to Lima

Fly from the UK to Lima.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel by private car.

Overnight Lima.

Day: 2 Lima

In the morning enjoy a bike tour through Lima, beginning in Barranco, Lima's old bohemian neighborhood boasting Republican mansions, bars and parks.

Visit Chorrillos with its old fishing pier, beaches, promenade and the historic Morro Solar Hill.

Finally bike through the vibrant district of Miraflores with its amazing cliff edge sidewalks and parks overlooking the ocean.

Day 3: The Amazon

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado where you will be met and transferred by vehicle and boat to  the luxurious Refugio Amazonas’ Amazon Villa.

The boat journey of 4 hours into the rainforest is a great opportunity to spot wildlife such as macaws, caimans and capybaras.

Your accommodation for 3 nights is a private villa tucked away deep in the rainforest, completely independent from the Refugio Amazonas lodge.

A stay in the ‘Amazon Villa’ includes a personal butler service, a variety of a-la-carte activities with your own guide, private meals featuring delicious Peruvian cuisine.

Day 4: The Amazon

Today is a day full of adventure possibilities.

Climb a 30-metre tree or paddle board to visit an oxbow lake.

Alternatively jump in kayaks or try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding.

In the morning head back early to Puerto Maldonado for your flight to Cusco where you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Day 7: Cusco 

This morning enjoy a guided walking tour through the major sites  in Cusco, including the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun with its incredible Inca masonry.

Afterwards walk along Hatunrumiyoc Street with a last stop in the San Blas artisan quarter, with its steep cobblestone alleys lined with workshops and galleries, a great way to soak in Cusco's artistic atmosphere as well as to enjoy views over the city.

Day 8: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Sky Lodge
