Casa de la Flora is a luxury, all-villa design resort in an idyllic beachfront location just a short walk from the centre of Khao Lak, an hour north of Phuket.
Villas at Casa de la Flora are all very spacious with private pools and great modern features. There are just 36 villas at Casa de la Flora, in three different designs.
The beachfront villas benefit from the ocean breezes and views, whilst the duplex villas offer sea views and a larger separate living area. The villas have a very high degree of privacy without being totally enclosed.
To soften the modern cubist design, the overall feel of the accommodation is complemented by warm wooden flooring and subtle soft furnishings. We think it’s a nice mix.
Casa de la Flora will appeal to those looking for a fashionable design hotel with an emphasis on modernity and comfort and great Thai cuisine (the head chef has a great reputation).
What’s so Special?
There’s nowhere like Casa de la Flora in Khao Lak – and we love the uncluttered calm and minimalist design. The design touches, such as the pool bar are a real treat.
Being within walking distance of plenty of other local restaurants, bars and facilities is a real bonus of the resorts' location, which offers the best of both worlds.
Bear in mind
Casa de la Flora is a modern Thai resort, so don’t expect too many silk wall hangings or reclining Buddhas.
Instead expect sophisticated modern Thai cuisine and a fashionable, design orientated resort.
Casa de la Flora isn't really very suited for families.
