We realise that these are extraordinary times and many people will feel understandably cautious about booking future holidays at the moment.
Since mid-March we have had a steady flow of bookings for 2021 and beyond which has been encouraging, and thank you for customers who have booked with us for next year.
We would like to reassure you of our commitment to looking after our customers as we have always done, but even more so in the current situation.
For all new bookings we are able to offer a flexibility guarantee (subject to any terms from our suppliers which we will advise you of at the time of booking).
If your destination is subject to border closures or quarantine on arrival you will be able to either defer your trip to a later date or change to another destination up to 30 days before departure.
We will not charge an amendment fee if you wish to amend, but changes will be subject to revised costs depending on the dates and destination of travel.
We're normally able to find new dates for the same trip without any increase in costs.
For all new package holiday bookings (travel itineraries containing both flights & accommodation) where there is FCO advice against travel or a quarantine in your destination within 7 days of departure, you will be given these three options where you have paid your balance in line with our booking conditions:
1. Travel as booked.
2. Change to new dates or a new destination.
3. Cancel and have a full refund.
Our normal deposit requirement is 20% of the value of the booking.
In many instances we are able to be flexible on deposit payments at the moment, so please discuss this with your consultant at the time of your booking.
We understand that you may be concerned about Financial Protection.
When we started our business in 2007 we operated on a Trust Account model as members of the Travel Trust Association, and have done so ever since.
This means that when a payment is made to us, your payment sits ring-fenced in a protected account until either you have returned from your holiday or all suppliers on your booking have been paid.
It's a form of financial protection which is the industry gold-standard and one which much of the industry is now considering moving over to.
We also of course hold an ATOL licence which confers government backed financial protection in the event of a company failure.
Together this represents the most comprehensive financial protection we believe there is, and it's something that should give you absolute trust that all payments are protected.
If you have an existing booking with us and you are concerned about whether or not it will be able to go ahead, please contact your sales consultant to discuss, as each case is unique.
In most cases if you wish to defer your booking we are able to amend the dates for you, usually without any additional costs.
We will not charge any amendment fees of our own if you wish to defer your trip.
Sometimes additional costs may be incurred if you choose to defer your trip to a later date, but we will do our utmost to keep these to a minimum.
Many of our customers due to travel in the first 3 months of 2021 have already amended dates.
If you prefer to change destination or aren't able to decide on dates or destination at this stage we are also usually able to offer your deposit payment as a credit against a future trip of your choice when you feel ready to confirm something.
Our guarantee is that we will be as flexible as we can to make sure you're happy with your arrangements, with no pressure.
