Where to go When

This is our guide on where to go and when. You have 3 ways to navigate:

  • Quick Link on your destination on the right for the best climate
  • Choose your month of travel on the left for some inspiration on where to go
  • Browse through country climate guides using the menu top right

Remember that the climate is only one factor in choosing the best time of year to travel. The so called 'perfect climate' can mean higher prices and busier destinations. There is often much to be said for travel in the 'low' or 'shoulder' seasons.

A quick word on 'rainy seasons'. Tropical rain showers usually occur in short sharp bursts, often late in the afternoon or sometimes at night. Travel during the 'rainy season' in tropical destinations does not generally mean that it will rain all day for days on end. Rainfall is higher during this time of year but usually occurs in short and intense downpours.
