One of Singapore’s very few true boutique hotels, the Scarlet is an 84 room totally unique hotel in Chinatown, occupying a converted 1924 Art Deco building.

Vivacious, uninhibited, daring – the Scarlet is certainly not for those looking for bland and unoriginal! The hotel cuts a fine line line between pretentious and stylish but we think it’s a goodie!

The location on Club Street means that boutique shops, trendy restaurants, wine bars and art galleries are all close at hand.

What's so special?

Singapore has struggled to come up with quality boutique hotels but the Scarlet is a pretty good effort.

Bear in mind

Standard and Deluxe Rooms are really small and we highly recommend one of the Executive Rooms which are much better (please bear this in mind if reading any reviews of the hotel).
